At the meeting of the Council, is was directed that the Division” should implement the scientific concept of development, earnestly implementing mapping activities.” Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang visited the event and said the innovation foundation was important and that innovation and implementing the plan was a key element of success.

Vice Premier Li Keqiang noted that the construction of three projects: world map construction, industrial promotion project and application engineering surveying and mapping results were particularly important, He spoke of the need to deepen understanding to identify “problem maps”  in need of special actions, and a need to provide security checks from surveying and mapping results.

Services are expected to improve with respect to enhancing public map activities and to enhance the level of emergency support services as well as level performance for service enterprises). Public education and awareness of the national territory and public education awareness was similaly promoted.

The meeting urged all cadres and workers of the Secretary to the executive meeting to be guided by the spirit of 2012 directions and to improve performance, so that the “four goods”  – good thinking, good planning, good progress and good publicity would lead to success.

The comments were directed at improving the qualification and certification of surveying and mapping related functions and activities within China and their interpretation abroad.
