TerraGo Edge Brings Real-Time GPS to Field Workers at a Fraction of the Cost of Traditional Handhelds

 According to GPS industry expert, Davis Wildman, Principal, Newland Geo, “Proprietary handheld GPS devices are increasingly being replaced by BYOD solutions. New features include:

  • Displays real-time GPS monitor while capturing notes in the field
  • Records all GPS metadata and attributes (e.g. satellites, horizontal/vertical accuracy, heading)
  • Capture button to lock-in current GPS state
  • View photo metadata information in note display
  • Additional online map sources from USGS, CartoDB, Stamen, and Mapquest
