Matrox Graphics has released Matrox Extio F1240, a remote graphics unit. Extio F1240 is capable of driving two 30-inch displays, each at a native dual-link digital resolution of 2560 x 1600. It is possible to separate the host computer from the monitor and other peripherals by up to 250 metres of fibre optic cable.
