Erdas has released a beta version of Imagine Objective, a new tool for object-based multi-scale image classification. This product also offers feature extraction capabilities for building and maintaining accurate geospatial content. It transforms data from remotely-sensed imagery. The output can be directly merged into a GIS. According to Erdas, minimal additional post-processing is required.
