Infotech Enterprises Limited has opened up an office in Kuala Lumpur to address both Malaysian and South East Asian markets.
Infotech will use the new office to drive new business development for its utilities, telecommunications and government market segments.
Hyderabad-based Infotech has already established a strong presence in the region by securing a multi-year/multi-million dollar GIS implementation project from Tenaga Nasional Berhad. TNB is the largest electricity utility company in Malaysia. It has over 7 million customers.
In addition Infotech is also implementing a system for an unnamed telecoms company in Singapore.
Infotech was founded in 1991. Today it specialises in offering global IT services and solutions, specialising in engineering services, GIS and IT, from its bases in India.
The company provides services to aerospace, rail, automotive, marine, energy, plant engineering, utilities, government, retail, consumer electronics, medical electronics, semiconductor, telecoms and computing industries. The company is listed on the Bombay and the Indian national stock exchanges.
