Russian Space Command has taken control of the three new Glonass satellites that were launched on 14 December. All satellites are in their correct orbits and operating properly, according to mission control in Krasnoznamensk, near Moscow. This launch brings the total number of Glonass satellites on orbit to 22.
The 3 satellites were of the Uragan-M type. They have designations 730, 733, 734, or Kosmos-2456, 2457 and 2458.
The satellites were launched using a Proton with a Blok DM-2 upper stage.
The satellites are in 19130 x 19140 km x 64.8 deg orbits.
