Beijing-based transportation information service company China TransInfo Technology is providing free GIS services and products to the Sichuan earthquake relief effort as part of its work with the Wenchuan Earthquake Enterprise Rescue Alliance. The group, headed by ESRI, is using GIS technology to provide real time information in areas such as weather forecasting, transportation and electrical grids.
