Transas GMDSS Simulator Used for Training of Radio Operators in Indonesia

The new simulator configuration includes one instructor station and eight trainee stations at each location. Together with stand-alone GMDSS Simulator CBT and two sets of GMDSS real radio, these new systems are intended for training and examination of Indonesian seafarers in GMDSS radio system operations. The Directorate General (DG) Post & Telecommunication is one of Transas's first customers in Indonesia. They acquired Transas GMDSS Simulator TGS 2000 at 1999. Trimble announced today that its high-accuracy CenterPoint RTX correction service is now available worldwide for agriculture customers. The GPS and GLONASS-enabled correction service is delivered via cellular communications using the Trimble DCM-300 modem, which is currently certified for use in 38 countries on 5 continents.

Vineyards vary substantially in the quantity and quality of grapes they produce. Yield and various measures of quality are known to vary widely within blocks and along rows. Two consequences of this are the uncertainty in the prediction of yield, and delivery of grapes of inconsistent quality to the winery.
