DMCii Expands Rapid 22m Satellite Imaging Service

With today’s launch of the NigeriaSat-X 22m multi-spectral Earth observation satellite, DMC International Imaging Ltd. (DMCii) gains a significant increase in capacity for its rapid response global commercial imaging service. The launch of NigeriaSat-X, alongside the very high resolution NigeriaSat-2, adds a third 22m imager to the 7-satellite constellation coordinated by DMCii.  The latest generation of satellites doubles the number of pixels per hectare and improves the image quality over the current 32m constellation, providing reliable continuity of 650km wide imagery for customer applications.

Spatial Vision Releases NEXUS 5 Incremental Updater

Spatial Vision is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of Nexus, the Vicmap incremental update tool. If you are in the business of delivering services to households and businesses, you will know that properties and their corresponding delivery addresses are constantly changing. Victoria’s Department of Sustainability and Environment makes updates to Vicmap Property and Address available as incremental files every week. The Vicmap Incremental Update Format (IUF) are provided as sequential XML files containing only features that have changed since the previous update.
