Topcon Launches Three-Year Warranty for GR-5

Topcon Positioning Systems (TPS) is offering a three-year, guaranteed ‘bulletproof’ warranty for its industry-leading GR-5 high-precision GNSS receiver. The GR-5 is a 216-channel, dual-communication (full radio and cellular modem), waterproof, high performance GNSS receiver.  The award-winning product by TPS is manufactured in Livermore, Calif.

“The design has proven to be an incredibly durable and reliable product that stands up to any job site condition,” said Scott Langbein, TPS director of product marketing.

In offering the bulletproof warranty, TPS guarantees that the GR-5 will be working three years from the day it is registered.  “In other words, no matter what happens to the GR-5 any time in the first three years, we will fix it or replace it, no questions asked,” Langbein said.

To qualify, customers simply register their GR-5 for free at TopconTotalCare.com within 30 days of purchase. “Among all of Topcon’s world’s firsts, this bullet-proof warranty continues that tradition,” Langbein said.

The special bulletproof warranty promotion is valid only in North America and will run through March 1, 2013.

Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. (TPS) designs and manufactures precise positioning products and solutions for the global surveying, construction, agriculture, civil engineering, mapping and GIS, asset management and mobile control markets.  TPS’ parent company, Topcon Corporation (Tokyo Stock Exchange  – 7732), was founded in 1932.
