Qatar Rail Firm Woos Private Investors

Qatar Railways Company (QRail) is co-ordinating with the Qatar Development Bank and global consultancy firms to identify investment opportunities for the private sector in the country’s railway project. “We expect the results of the study to be ready in the second quarter of 2012,” QRail CEO Saad Ahmed Ibrahim al-Mohannadi said yesterday.
