UAV Drones for Agriculturalists

Thanks to the Aibot X6 agricultural experts can increase their crop yield, reduce their costs and protect the environment. Agriculturalists have to know which parts of their farmland need what kind of fertilization. UAV drones such as the Aibot X6 collect rapidly and flexibly the necessary soil data. The Aibot X6 analyzes the relevant area automatically after its flying route has been determined via GPS. High-resolution aerial images capture the ups, downs and structures of the whole area. From the color of the plants their nutritional state can be gathered.

Modern software analyzes all this data rapidly and allows an accurately dosed nutrient supply, matched to the requirements of the different soils. This way agriculturalists can not only save resources and increase their crop yield but also avoid negative ecological effects of over-fertilization.

While in precision agriculture satellites and airplanes have been used for several years to collect data, UAV drones offer the advantage to be more flexible, faster and cost-effective.
