Australia Provides One Billion to Landowners for Vegetation Projects

Close to one billion dollars has been made available to land owners who want to improve vegetation on their properties, through the Federal Government's Biodiversity Fund. The fund was launched in December, and the first round of grants closes on January 31st. There reforestation, combating and tackling threats to biodiversity, with a really big focus on invasive species, and vegetation protection and management with a focus on sites that have high conservation values.
