Thailand Invites Bids for Transport Infrastructure

Thailand Transport Minister Chadchart Sittipunt has called on Australian business to seek contracts in the country's $US67 billion ($65.7bn) plan to boost its transport infrastructure. Mr Sittipunt said Australian companies could participate in the upgrade of the Thai rail system, which included an ambitious plan for four high-speed rail lines around the country from Bangkok and more than 3000km of other rail track duplication.
