Queensland Irrigator Thinks Current Water Allocations Are Right

A Queensland irrigator says he still doesn't believe the state's irrigation systems are over-allocated. The comments come ahead of next Monday's long-awaited release of the Murray Darling Basin Plan. Figures leaked recently show the Queensland in-stream environmental water requirement is now 109 gigalitres, 98 less than originally suggested, and that's only part of the total buyback required.
