In its efforts to promoting awareness on the use of Geographic Information System (GIS), this city’s local government together with the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College-Regional Environmental Information System (UPVTC-REIS) last November 17 celebrated the international GIS Day. The celebration was also joined by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH – Environment and Rural Development (EnRD) and Decentralization (DP) Programs.
