Leica Geosystems is pleased to announce Leica Exchange. With Leica Exchange, secure two-way wireless information transfer between the field and office is seamless and instant. As soon as field work is complete, measurements can be sent to the office; or upon design changes, updates can be sent instantaneously to field personnel.
Immediately upon completing a job, work can be remotely transferred back to the office for quality assurance before the field team leaves the site. The office team can directly start processing the data, and if needed instruct the field team to collect additional data. Such a dynamic dataflow ensures jobs are finished faster and costly site re-visits are avoided.

In dynamic environments designs are constantly changing, and the most up-to-date design files are needed at all times to avoid re-work. With Leica Exchange, design teams can easily send the most up-to-date design data to field crews who are instantly notified that new data is available. With the most up-to-date data, expensive re-work can be avoided.

Leica Exchange, the new addition to Leica Geosystems Trusted Services, is available in a variety of yearly subscriptions, and is supported by SmartWorx Viva v4.0 field software and the new office software tool Leica Exchange Office v1.1.
