Laser scanning firm Digital Surveys has launched a spin-out company specialising in an increasingly-popular technique for effectively surveying buildings. The new firm is called eBIM, and will use Digital Surveys’ expertise in laser scanning to create a model of a building, and then convert it into a 3D model which can be used by contractors and architects.
