A series of public consultations on the Draft Comprehensive City Land Use Plan (CLUP) targeting the various sectors here has been scheduled to ensure maximum participation of the stakeholders in the finalization of the crucial plan. As this developed, the city council last Monday approved on first reading the proposed CLUP and zoning ordinance amendment and referred the same to its committee on urban planning, lands and housing to jumpstart the amendment of the zoning ordinance based on the updated CLUP.
