A recently launched website aimed at passing down the tragedy of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima to future generations, using a 3-D digital satellite map, is gaining public attention, following a similar site on the Nagasaki atomic bombing that was released last summer.
The new site, called "Hiroshima Archive" (http://mapping.jp/hiroshima/), shows photographic portraits of A-bomb survivors and the locations of destroyed buildings on a 3-D map of Hiroshima, allowing users to view the victims' A-bomb stories and photos of the buildings by clicking them. Read More
