Clark Labs Announces New Software Discount Program for Low-Income Countries

Clark Labs, at Clark University, is pleased to announce a new software discount program for individuals and institutions in low-income countries (LIC). Eligible customers may purchase a new license of IDRISI or Land Change Modeler at a 50% discount. Eligibility is based on the list of LICs published by The World Bank.

For many scientists in developing countries, the expense of software and hardware products renders them unattainable. "The needs of users in developing countries have always been of paramount importance," stated Dr. James Toledano, Executive Director of Clark Labs. "We created IDRISI with the full understanding that many of our potential users were addressing crucial environmental problems with very limited financial resources." The IDRISI GIS and Image Processing software, and its Land Change Modeler, is well-suited for their pressing environmental management needs and land cover change concerns.
For more information on the new discount program, visit the Clark Labs website.

Clark Labs is based within the world-renowned Graduate School of Geography at Clark University and is the developer of the IDRISI Taiga GIS and Image Processing software and the Land Change Modeler software extension to ArcGIS.
