During an on-line conference, the KazCosmos chairman, Talgat Mussabayev announced that the launch of the KazSat-2 satellite is scheduled for June 10, 2011. The previous launch date was March 30th, but the spacecraft was found to be not ready for the launch. Talgat Mussabayev, KazCosmos Chairman: - Our specialists found some serious shortcomings during scheduled stage-by-stage commissioning of the satellite.
