The GSDI Association is an active participating organization in the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS). Significant progress has been made in developing GEOSS over the past several years. The GEOSS Architecture and Data management Team is currently carrying out a survey of progress made to date. The survey is of greatest interest to practitioners that either use or distribute geospatial data. It is perhaps more germane to those who have used or tried to use the GEOSS Common Infrastructure.

The survey questionnaire contains five parts and you can skip to only those parts that are relevant to you. The five parts are:
1. Background Questions
2. Questions for Data Users
3. Questions for Data Providers
4. Questions about the Data Architecture of GEOSS
5. Questions about Respondent
