AAM, as distributors or Geocortex in Australia, are pleased to announce that Latititude Geographics have just released their Geocortex Essentials 3.3 software. This latest release of Geocortex Essentials introduces the Viewer Template Engine (VTE).  Using VTE, viewers developed by Latitude Geographics (such as the Geocortex Viewer for Flex and the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight), and viewers created by third parties, can be plugged in to the Geocortex Essentials framework architecture.

With this release, the user can now manage sites exposed through Geocortex services-oriented REST API and register one or more viewers with those sites.  Geocortex Essentials 3.3 also includes more site configuration options so that administrators can fine-tune the end-user experience.   

The release also improves on the Geocortex Essentials 3.3 Beta by providing a number of critical bug fixes.

Additionally, Latitude have released the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight 1.0.1. This is a maintenance release of the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight template. They've updated the management pack to resolve some critical issues with the management of viewers from within Geocortex Essentials Manager.
