Officials from the United Nations and US Department of State are holding workshops for UAE experts in hopes that the country will spearhead a regional satellite navigation system on par with others in the world. The workshops will be held this week at Dubai Men's College and are co-sponsored by the Emirates Institution for Advanced Science and Technology.
